Despite the lockdown the housing market is open for business!

In the wake of the government’s latest lockdown announcement, we would like to reassure all our clients that the property market still remains open for business and at Robert Bell & Company we are very, very busy, working hard for our clients. The government has confirmed that:

  • That renters and homeowners in England will be able to move and removal firms, tradespeople, and estate agents can still operate by going inside homes.

  • Work on new home construction sites and sales continue.

  • Valuation inspections and preparing a home for market are permitted.

  • Property viewings by potential buyers can still take place.

But all must follow strict Covid safety guidance which we have already in place.

Robert Bell & Company is continuing to work as normal, with a mix of remote home and essential office working and we are still busy valuing, taking on, marketing and selling homes. Our opening times during the week remain 9 am to – 5.30 pm.

The property market in our area remains in a very positive position, despite the new restrictions and we have record sale agreed levels.

‘The Stamp Duty Holiday’ Important Notice: if you are wanting to sell your home and take advantage of the tax break benefit on a purchase before the 31st March, you need to act as soon as possible. Let us explain to you why.  Request a valuation and marketing appraisal for your property and a personal update on the impact of Stamp Duty on the market looking ahead.

See our latest Robert Bell & Company E-Zine here with a selection of homes we are selling across the county and a sample HD Property Video. Both are excellent sales tools for catching the eye of buyers at home during the lockdown.
