Resolute management team praised by landlords and tenants

Outstanding patience and consideration from both Landlords and Tenants in these unprecedented times. We are getting through this together!

Our lettings team has continued to provide our long-standing management service to our clients but have had many challenges in altering how they approach this. Usual letting involves many interactions with people including viewings, inspections, check-ins and outs, and contractors visiting properties. Sharon Kirk our lettings manager has been tasked with arranging procedures to do all these whilst adhering to government advice. We are now predominately working from home and visits to properties are only done where ‘essential’. Our strong links to our professional organisations and industry publications have been vital.

Communication has become more important and the lettings team have taken the time to speak to nearly all our clients to inform them of how things are proceeding. We thank our clients for their understanding of the difficulties we face and also for being reasonable in accepting tenants requests to delay moves in these extraordinary circumstances.

We have still arranged over 15 check-ins and outs and the relevant paperwork since the lockdown and repairs are occurring we thank our contractors for arranging these safely and making extra efforts to order parts. Arrears are being carefully watched but we can thankfully report have yet to see any significant increase.

We again thank our clients, tenants and contractors for working with us during these times. The next challenge is how to cope with the large backlog of viewings, inspections, etc once go back to ‘normal’ or perhaps a new normal?
