Even in lockdown the team achieves the improbable!

22 May 2020

All credit to the professionalism of our residential sales team over the lockdown period. As many of our clients will testify, they have achieved many notable successes on their behalf in these trying times.

Our sales teams have found buyers where it appeared unlikely a sale could be agreed, revived chains of sales when they were on the edge of collapsed, kept both buyers and sellers calm and clear-headed when a crucial decision had to be made and often worked late into the night in doing so.

One of these notable successes has been the sale of 3 The Park Potterhanworth, a good-sized three bedrooms detached bungalow in a quiet location on the country fringe of this popular village just a few minutes drive from Lincoln. Guide Price £300,000 to £320,000.

Our clients asked the team to achieve a 'very quick sale', where two other agents had unfortunately failed. The bungalow came to the market on lockdown, so it looked like an improbable ask! Sleeves rolled up the Lincoln office sales team went at it. Strong interest was immediately generated, offers received and a sale agreed. Not bad going, but there was more to come. With the positive support of the team and commitment of both client and buyer to get the job done and the hard work of two excellent solicitors, from sale agreed to exchange and completion of the sale it was just a little over 3 weeks!
