recently our company acted as joint auctioneers at the
weekly Horncastle Livestock Market .Current market policies
and movement restrictions have led to the closure of
nearly all of Lincolnshire's livestock markets.We
remain the appointed Auctioneers to the Lincoln
Longwool Society.

sale is normally held in conjunction with the Carrington
Engine Rally which draws thousands of visitors on
the last Saturday in May.

Entering
Items for Sale
Request
an entry form and return with a full description of you
intend entries to our Horncastle office in good time for
the anticipated sale. You will be allocated a vendor number.
Vendor
Numbers
These
must be clearly labelled on each item to avoid confusion
with other vendor’s entries.
Bringing
In
Entries
should be brought to the Town Hall between 8 am and 12
noon on the Monday before the sale. On arrival vendors
should register with the Head Porter and ensure that their
entries are checked in.
An
auctioneer can discuss with you the setting of any reserves
on your entries as required.
Collection
of your entries
This
can be arranged but we will charge according to the charges
levied by the removal firm.
Storage
Free
storage can be arranged but transport from the store to
the Auction room will be charged.
Insurance
Vendors
are advised to arrange their own insurance whilst items
are in store or at the sale room.
Electrical
Items
In
accordance with Trading Standard requirements, all electrical
items have to be warranted as being safe by a qualified
electrician. A charge is made for testing. Vendors should
mark items as working where applicable.
Dumping
Any
lot failing to attract a bid shall be dumped and a charge
made for its removal.
